It might take up to a month for your skin to adjust to the new method of shaving when you switch from a rotary shaver or manual razor. It’s like your hairline - it takes time to switch from a side to a middle parting. So, give it time.
Make sure your shaver is charged and ready to go.
Try to shave before washing your face, as skin tends to be slightly swollen after washing.
After a few days without shaving, for example over the weekend, it's best to trim your stubble before you shave.
Now, turn the Braun shaver on. Stretch the skin with your free hand before shaving extra sensitive areas or places that need a closer shave. This ensures a smooth glide across your skin.
Hold the shaver at a right angle (90°) to your skin and shave against the direction of beard growth. Remember that avoiding going over the same areas repeatedly increases your chances of avoiding skin irritation.
Keep the pressure even to achieve the best possible shave. No need to push as hard as you do with a manual razor.
Clean your shaver regularly. Depending on the model, you may be able to use the Braun cleaning centre that automatically cleans and lubricates your shaver at the push of a button.
we recommend you replace the cutting parts every 18 months as they become worn down. Don’t use too much pressure and stick with it!
