The type number is a code consisting of up to 4 digits, which is usually located by the barcode on the packaging of your Braun product and engraved directly onto your product.

Warranty extension is exclusively available to the below devices in Braun’s Grooming & Hair Removal range. Users must register to BraunCare+ and upload product information before June 30, 2026 to be eligible for extended warranty*.

• Shavers: S5, S6, S7, S8, S9 Pro, S9 Pro+

• Stylers & Trimmers: MGK5, AIO5, MGK7, AIO7, BT5, BT7, BT9, BG5, BG7

• Epilators: S5, S7, SE9, SE9 Flex

• IPL: PL3, PL5, PL7
  

You are eligible for a warranty extension if the date of purchase and the date of product registration are no more than 24 months apart.

Warranty extension information will be automatically included in your profile after successful registering to BraunCare+ and uploading product information until June 30, 2026. In case you need to redeem your warranty extension, include your product information (date of purchase & sales receipt) when checking in your device to our Braun service centers online or offline. When signing up to BraunCare+ and registering your device, this information will be visible in your profile.

The same terms apply as with all other warranties issued by Braun and does not cover the following: damage due to improper use, normal wear and tear (e.g. shaver foil or cutter block) as well as defects that have a negligible effect on the value or operation of the appliance. The guarantee becomes void if repairs are undertaken by unauthorized persons and if original Braun parts are not used.
