I never thought i would ever do my armpits with an epilator. :)I have thick dark hair on my armpits and this epilator was a magic in removing them. I used to get my armpits waxed back in my home country, but when I moved to UK, I felt waxing was a little too much for me like finding a proper professional, booking appointments etc. In fact I hurt my armpits trying to wax myself :( phew...The epilator is the best gift I received from my husband and I totally adore it. It perfectly removed every hair on my armpits and I am really impressed with. I wish I had purchased this before I experimented waxing myself ;)Thanks Braun!!!Cheers..
Yes, I recommend this product !
I have now had 2 of these. I like using it. But both have startedneeding recharging after one use just outside the 2 yearguarantee period. I thought the first one may have been a fluke, but the second one hasdone exactly the same. I will not be buying another one.£50 per year is too expensive.i don't normally write reviewsbut feel strongly let down by this product which I like verymuch apart from the shelf life.
No, I do not recommend this product.
I have only ever shaved my legs until yesterday when I purchased this product...I have never felt so much pain other than having a child but once you get through the initial hurt this actually works! It is exactly what it says, like 40 tweezers all at once but if the results last for a few weeks rather than shaving every two days then I can deal with that, plus it's sure to become easier the more you use it.Value for money I thought was fair too.I am hesitant about doing my armpits or bikini line yet as my legs were a bravery moment to start with so I have to work myself up to that.Anyway in short, excuse the pun, genius little device that I am hoping will become my new best friend, well done Braun :-))
I bought this epilator three months ago and am pleased with the results. Thank you for a wonderful product. It removes hair efficiently, charges quickly and is easy to use and clean. The epilator is also a lovely design and colour. My one complaint is very minor. In my opinion not all the attachments are necessary but I may yet change my mind on that.I am also happy with the Braun Oral B electric toothbrush I have. Not sure what model it is. It's a blue and white one.
I paid a lot of money for this epilator as it first came out. But it keeps breaking down. After charging it fully and trying to start it, it immediately shows a red light and absolutely nothing happens. I'm very disappointed in you Braun.
Boots had epilators on 1/3 to 1/2 off, so I decided to splurge on a more expensive one. I've used electric shavers for years, I have really sensitvie skin so regular razors and waxing are NOT options. This epilator comes with an electric shaver as well, you just swap the heads. I am very happy with the epilating function, as I've never done it before. I sat down to a tv program and got to it. I've epilated my legs a couple of times now and its amazing! It does take a bit of getting used to as it hurts and the technique needs to be spot on. But I'm happy. I haven't been brave enough to try the bikini line or armpits yet.I did try it on my face to see how it works and this one is too bulky to see anything properly. If you're wanting to do your face, a skinnier epilator would be easier to use.Overall I am happy with it, although I wouldn't have paid full price. Thanks to Boots for its sale when I needed a new electric shaver.
I have been using silk epil for ever but since I bought Silk Epil 7 with all the extra attachments everything changed. It is cordless which makes the experience liberating since you can move around freely. Everything is washed under water which makes it more hygienic. It can be used in the shower, how convenient. It charges fast and it lasts for both my legs. It is true that even very thin and small/ short hair it can pluck out so legs look very smooth. I haven't used it in my underarms, I don't think I will but I used it at the bikini line and it is great again. I also used it on the upper lip but it didn't work for me. The cap used needs to be flatter and pull the hair from close up otherwise it hurts and it doesn't pull all of them.I haven't had any issues with ingrown hair which older models had. It is much much much less. With regards to pain, it's improved silkepil sensation for those who have been using it. With pulling even shorter hair sometimes you feel it a little more but that is just so instant and bearable. I would definitely recommend it!!
Works as described but check out the Internet for all the negative comments re battery ceasing to hold its charge. Mine too flashes red within 1 minute of use after a full overnight charge. ALWAYS cleaned thoroughly despite customer services inference it is user's fault. I'm unwilling to spend money to send this back for repair when I see evidence from many reviews that the problem just returns. I feel guilty that I also gave one to my daughter.
