Silk-epil 7 :0)

I used the silk epil 7 for the first time on hairy legs lol it says u can use it on leg hair that is 2-5mm unfortunately mine were longer the. That as I knew it was coming so I waited... Upon opening the box it's a nice design not to fat that u can't hold it but not to sleek so u don't lose grip, the glittered detail gives it a nice girly touch. I noticed straight away it only had a bathroom plug which worried me as my bathroom doesn't have an outlet, but managed to pick one up cheap but it was an inconvienance as couldn't use straight away. I like the fact it came with Olay wipes to prepare your legs before shaving and I would advise these are used, (when I first received it I couldn't resist a quick go and oh was I not ready for the feeling lol but the wipes soften the leg if dry shavingl). The instructions were clear and easy to understand which is a good start and it comes with 2 heads which u can switch on preference.I My first experience was WOW what a sensation... Kind of like having a tattoo done but on a more bare able scale... The light on the epil is brilliant! Who ever thought of that deserves a medal! I did a dry shave it isn't as quick using the epil as it is shaving but I think the out come is better. My skin is pretty sensitive and I have got red bumps on my leg after using but I will update this tomorrow and see if it go down like it states in the booklet. It has 2 settings normal and a slightly faster option, as long as you follow the instructions you get a lovely sleek feel after. This is my first ever experience using an epilator and in all fairness I'm not disappointed. My overall thought on the epil I'm rather impressed. It does exactly what it says on the tin. The only fault I can find is the plug out let but I think that's on most shavers these days, but do think that it should be taken into consideration that not all bathrooms facilitate . I will continue my feedback in the morning.....Morning after... Well the red spotting has disappeared from my legs but found the finer hair were still there... To look at you would never have noticed but to the touch you can defiantly feel them there, so I gave it a second go as my hair was longer then the recommended 2-5mm and so far no complaints... I genuinely think this product does what it's supposed to. It's not the most comfortable feel in the process but it does state this in the instructions and after the first 5 mins you pretty much get used to it and it isn't that bad. As first time user or even first timer that knew something like this existed I'm not disappointed :0) picture is the redness after use... I will advise using this the night before going out but again that states that in the instructions and I also used cocoa butter after... Before I got this product I literally thought it was a shaver haha so please read the description... This was my fault... Think before getting the product a small list of description, and price would be good or price range I don't know what I would personally price this as maybe £50-£60 ...

Silk-epil 7 epilator- my thoughts after 1st use.

I found this epilator quite painful to use. But I feel after a few more goes it won't be as bad.Even though I had to grit my teeth while shaving my legs in the shower, I felt like it did its job and my skin felt smooth.I like the fact that it can be used in the water just like a disposal razor.

Great but not for me

Upon opening my package I noticed how attractive the epilator was especially with the finishing touches of the glittery body. I opened the box and immediately realised I didn't have a 2 point socket and had to dismantle my straighteners to charge it up. Once charged I was excited to use it as I had never used one before, the noise was slightly scary but didn't put me off, I used this both on dry and wet skin, it wasn't as painful as I had been warned although my husband won't agree. The light was very helpful! Overall it's an attractive, easy to clean piece of kit but not for me

silk-epil 7

This is my first campaign so I was very excited to be invited to it. I had never used a epilator before so wasn't sure what to expect. All I can say is I'm very happy with the results I started with my legs it was very easy to use with simple instructions to follow I did have small red spots form but it does warn you about this and they were gone by the following morning. Only downside it is quite noisy and you cant use it while charging. Overall very happy and have recommend them to all my family and friends.

Painless hair removal -Braun Silk-Épil 7W&D

I have been using epilators for a few years now, however after I got Silk Epil 7 - wet and dry from hair removal has become less of a nightmare. The main feature of this product is that it can be used in bath or shower which make hair removal a lot less painful. It tackles most of the hair(even the finest hair),if you get the angle right, in the first couple of sweeps leaving your skin smooth.I personally feel the massaging roller head plays a major role in reducing the discomfort, but if you need a quicker epilation the pack comes with an Efficiency cap for a larger coverage.Dont forget the cooling wipes to prepare your skin for a smooth finish.I find it particularly helpful to epilate after a body scrub and a hot shower as it gets rid of in-growths if any and softens and relaxes your skinIn a nut shellAdvantages: Pivoting High Frequency massaging head, can be used in shower, gets even small hairs, soothing pre-epilating wipes included, charges quickly.Disadvantages: Might experience a little tingling from the massage rollers for the first few minutes, but you soon get used to it and can't live without it.Highly recommend it!

good product

this product is really good, never used an epilator before and never realized how smooth my skin can be. used it under my arms and on my legs. it gets all the little hairs. the product has a light on it so you can see the hairs better and has 2 speeds. you also receive some wipes with the product to use before you epilate. easy to clean and would definitely recommend.

First time used

So this was the first time of using an epilator. I was nervous so tried it on the slow speed after pre treating my legs with the play wipes. The slow speed seemed to take for ever so I went in for the kill and tried on the fast speed. I have to say it did a brilliant job and the light really helped with the shorter hairs on my legs! I do need to give it another go now that I have bought a shaver plug to charge it's I ran out of charge. But I don't think I will go back to shaving - I am a definite convert! The only reason I haven't given this 5 stars is the plug issue come on Braun supply a 3 pin plug!

Silky as a sultan satins

Before everything, a big thank you to bzz agent for inviting me to this campaign . I've been waiting like a baby at Christmas time. The idea of hair free legs, underarms and bikini line was very inviting so as soon this little beauty, curvy ,glittery arrived I got cracking.I started with my legs and due to the lack of pain I really got carried away and I've done every hairy department including the bikini line. The light is quite annoying at the begining but proves to be very useful.GOOD POINTSGreat built qualityCan be used in wetThe light really helpHolds its charge really wellBAD POINTSIs noisyyou can't use it while chargingThe cleaning can be a bit problematic

The unboxing

The epilator came neatly boxed and presented nicely. Getting into the box was nice and easy without unecessary hassle. The epilator feels nice when you hold it not too heavy with sparkly details. It looks really good and i can't wait to test it.Now for the things that I didn't like:• the travel bag looks really cheap. I expected something with a zipper but I suppose that will have to do.•the charger has an european plug. As luck has it i have an adaptor but if I didn't I would've had to wait to buy one to test it.•the masagge head doesn't come off( I mean just the purple bit). I would've liked to have the option of removing it or not as I sometimes find it ,with my old one, that it get in the way more than it helps.I will come back with another reviwe on the feel of it after I use it.

Converted to epilation - never expected that!

I have tried this epilator twice now - first time on shamefully long hair, second attempt on stubble. As an epilator virgin I was dreading the pain that I'd always associated with epilation (I'd been assured it was worse than childbirth!). After an initial shock I actually found it not too painful at all, the massage of the skin really does help! I started on power level 1 but soon turned up to 2 which I found to be better for my hairs.I found I had to go over areas several times to get every hair, not something I'm used to with shaving, but the light really helps to spot the escapees! The pivoting head also managed to get the awkward spots like ankles and knees for a smooth result. The second attempt on stubble went much smoother, no pun intended! It definitely works better on shorter hairs. Took half the time and less missed spots.I love the fact that it can be used wet or dry...great for quick touch ups. Its really easy to clean too as can be rinsed. The charge lasts a decent amount of time and the recharge is quick. I would like to be able to use it with the cord attached as I can see it could be an issue if it ran out half way through a leg but its a minor point in my view. All in all, I'm so pleased I tried it. Would definitely recommend to first time users. I'm converted!
